The Viewport will now show your object in Lookdev mode, and a Shader Editor window will appear Click on the ‘Shader’ tab at the top of your project window to open the Shader workspace.The below is a step-by-step for adding an emission shader through the Node Editor. Note: Ensure that you are viewing your object in Lookdev or Render mode so you can see your changes. You can then change the color to whatever color light you would like the object to emit, and also the strength of the Emission by adjusting the slider underneath.Click on Principled BSDF and change it to an Emission shader.Blender materials are automatically set as a Principled BSDF shader.
